Management Accountant (Operations, US) required to produce timely and accurate monthly reporting of stock (hip and knee implants, as well as instruments) and associated balances with a continuous improvement approach to tasks. We are looking for a part or qualified management accountant who has a good working knowledge of GRNI and PPV, who will be based in Cirencester UK on a hybrid contract.

 

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant – Operations (US)

  • Support the US in the production of the regional and individual entity financial statements with responsibility for stock and related balances in line with financial standards and Corin Group policies.
  • Produce monthly stock list and reconciliation to trial balance, including any required general ledger journals and other associated balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with the local Finance team and operational teams to ensure accurate monthly results, including follow-up to resolve any ongoing issues following month-end close.
  • Support the Group Stock team in the production of monthly and annual Group stock reporting.
  • Active and proactive involvement in system and process development.
  • Support in the production of the regional annual budget and rolling forecast for stock and related accounts.
  • Support in the annual audit at a Group and local entity level, and delivery of information for disclosure in the Group and local entity year-end statutory accounts.

 

The ideal Management Accountant (Operations, US) will be/have:

  • A part (ideally studying to qualify) or fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA).
  • Good working knowledge of GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) and PPV (Purchase Price Variance)
  • Working knowledge of Sage Line 1000 or / Anaplan
  • Strong communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relations across all levels and cultures.
  • Attention to detail combined with a logical approach to tasks.
  • Comfortable handling and manipulating large quantities of data.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
