Corin Australia is looking for a Process Technician reporting into the Production Engineering Manager, this role will require to operate, maintain, monitor, and optimise production processes to manufacture orthopaedic instruments. You will work alongside experienced engineers within the Engineering Teams as well as interact with suppliers. You will be required to assist in manufacturing activities to support production of 3D printed patient specific instruments used for orthopaedic surgeries.

This role is full-time, ongoing position is based out of our Sydney office located in Pymble, Australia

All aspects of the role must be compliant with the companies’ policies and procedures including the Information Security Management System and the ISO 27001 standard and the Quality Management System and ISO13485 Standard.

The key responsibilities for the Process Technician
•    Perform daily production activities which includes operating 3D printing machines, inspection of parts and purchasing,
•    Create work orders and lot records.
•    Maintain the production environment and equipment according to maintenance schedule. 
•    Raise non-conformances & initiate corrective and preventative actions.
•    Assist Production Engineering Manager by providing operational or engineering support to projects.
•    Adhere to relevant procedures in accordance with the quality management system.
•    Create or update process flow, work instructions, and process specifications.
•    Work closely with internal customers and suppliers and ensure customer requirements are met.
•    Maintain a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with WHS policies and regulations.
•    Perform engineering change control and qualification activities as directed.
•    Other ad hoc duties and projects critical to production and the organization

The ideal Process Technician will have/be
•    Medical device experience preferable
•    Certified IV/Diploma or degree qualified.
•    A team player
•    Flexible and adaptable
•    Great attention to detail
•    Process orientated approach.
•    Able to work multiple assignments of diverse scope and ability to exercise judgment within both novel and defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate actions.
•    Able to clearly communicate scientific information both written and oral.
•    Able to demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
