Opportunity at a Glance

This position, under general supervision of the Product Director, Learning Pedagogy, Instruction and Assessment, is responsible for all functions and matters relating to faculty in the field of anti-financial crime including but not limited to; training programs, webinars, seminars and thought leadership activities within ACAMS. In fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, the Senior Manager, Head of Instruction shall; supervise the curricula, courses, and methods of instruction, instruct programs and mentor faculty. Our innovative and growing organization is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Senior Manager, Head of Instruction. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, onboarding and evaluation of external faculty members.
  • Ensures ongoing assessment of the department’s success in fulfilling its mission and reaching its goals
  • Involves faculty and other relevant constituents in broad decision making and planning through ongoing consultation
  • Lead the development of proposals and projects that further our ability to provide world class training Research new methods for instruction and implementation
  • Instruct various webinars, seminars, and training programs
  • Plan, staff, and execute programs to ensure all departmental staff and faculty are appropriately and sufficiently tasked at all times
  • Understand the curricula, courses, and methods of instruction and work cooperatively with the product management and development teams to implement processes and programs that ensure effective instruction.
  • Identify Professional development and training opportunities
  • Mentor and encourage creativity in innovative technologies and research
  • Oversee the coordination and scheduling of external faculty roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop, in consultation with leadership, an annual budget for external faculty roles and responsibilities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports regarding faculty success using metrics and key performance indicators determined by leadership
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in education; Master’s degree is preferred (M. Ed., M.S.E, M.S. Ed., M.A. Ed.)
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with all areas of the organization and the business
  • 5+ years of experience training professionals
  • 2+ years of education management experience
  • Experience in the field of anti-financial crime required
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of work hours
  • Strong team facilitation skills
  • Experience dealing with ambiguity, relationship building, collaboration and a drive for results
  • Advanced level of technical knowledge and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly proficient and comfortable with technology 
  • Ability to successfully multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Flexible and able to successfully accept change
