The Rail and Logistics Operations leader is a key role within our supply chain organization.   This role will focus on all aspects of rail logistics from rail car leases, movements, compliance, etc..

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Fleet optimization
• Railcar leases - new lease negotiations, replacements, renewals
• Railcar compliance, qualification plans, applicable OTMAs
• Liaison w/ 3rd party provider for tracking and expediting services
• Building and maintain strong relationships and negotiate rail rates / routes w/ applicable railroads and short lines 
• Assist sites w/ options to reduce demurrage and options for storage locations when needed.

Job Experience / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years rail management experience
• Proficient w/ excel and ideally familiarity with SAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to railcar fleets and movements
