Position Title: Accounting Supervisor

 

Location: Whitefield, Bengaluru, India



Position Overview

This position will be an integral member of the Mozarc Medical Finance Team, assisting in the standup and ongoing operations of the new, independent joint venture with equal partners, Medtronic and DaVita.  This position will report directly to the Mozarc Medical India Dy Finance Manager and be part of the global accounting services group supporting broad scopes of accounting responsibilities, month end close, accounting process design, international accounting, and internal control.

A Day in the Life

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wide range accounting operations support to legal entities at a global level , which includes
    • Coordinating timely and clear communication to Global Accounting Operations leader based in USA.
    • Accounts reconciliations
    • Preparation and analysis of various month end close reports
    • Lease Schedule preparation and accounting
  • Provide data and support for various audits like Statutory , US GAAP , Tax
  • Perform supervisory duties for accounting team, based in India, who are supporting Mozarc’s global accounting processes
  • Responsible for annual performance reviews
  • Participate in special projects, including large and complex assignments such as transitional service agreements (TSA), business integrations, and system implementation
  • Partner with global accounting operations leader and other finance leaders in building the functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Travel and Expense Report processing
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and transformation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as supply chain, IT, human resources, legal & regulatory affairs

 

 

 

 

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years)

 

 

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Accounting or Finance

•    Spanish, Japanese or Chinese language capability

•    International accounting experience, including multiple entities consolidation and functional currencies translation

•    Manufacturing industry finance and accounting experience
•    Experience with start-ups, divestitures, or joint ventures
•    Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities
•    Strong attention to detail

•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
•    Experience with business partnering

•    Eagerness to learn

•    Working knowledge of SAP and highly proficient in Excel
